Dark Round the Edges is the first album by British group Dark, released in 1972. The original edition is considered to be a "holy grail" for record collectors.

The album was originally released in an edition of 64 copies.Most copies were given away to family and close friends of the band, but some were sold. It is now considered to be one of the most valuable records, with original copies having been sold for prices upward to £6,000 and £25,000, depending on the version. In 2016, it was listed as the 17th most valuable record of all time by NME.


This is a 1991 repress of this very rare LP. Even the repress was limited to 225 copies. This is numbered 137/ 225.

The record and cover are in excellent condition. This has hardly been played. 

Steve Giles was the band founder and composer of the album. 

This LP comes as a package. 

There is an 8 page booklet signed by Steve Giles.

There is also a CD-R of the remastered album with bonus backing tracks and radio interviews. He has also signed the CD artwork.

A lyric sheet is included.

Overall a very rare package for the Prog rock/ psychedelic rock fan or serious collector/ investor.
