Dark ITA Reissue LP Round the edges VG+ 2010 Akarma AK007 Prog Rock
Italian 180g Reissue LP released in 2010 on Akarma Records. Cat: AK007. Comes in a gatefold sleeve. Comes with 12 page black and white booklet which is in Excellent condition.
Uncovered in the out back of N.S.W. this record is part of a recent collection stored and unplayed for the last 20 years. Collected during the 90's and mostly sourced from overseas kept in a cool dry cellar there are some tasty gems on offer and we look forward on listing them over the next few months.
Dark's sole album consists of six long, rather meandering tracks, the songs largely vehicles for some involved, fuzzy hard rock guitar soloing. In the softer parts and the vocal sections, there are faint echoes of the folky psychedelic late-'60s rock of acts like Jefferson Airplane and the Grateful Dead. You can hear that in the first part of "Live for Today," in particular, with its bittersweet melody and harmonies.

There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff and very light scratches that cause some crackles and is in VG+ condition. Gatefold cover has the start of a small seam split on top centre edge and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
