Description

For sale is the legendary Northern Soul 45 by Darrell Banks, that doesn't really need much introduction.  Open The Door To Your Heart c/w Our Love.  This is the Original UK 45 issued in 1966 by London Records (HL 10070).  The withdrawn, Demo Copy and one of the most in demand Northern soul records, and London label collectors.
Please see pictures for the label, which is graded as Excellent.  The A side has a 225 stamp - done at the pressing plant.  The B side has what appears to be a radio station stamp - with the date 12 April 1966 and the letters RISTO can be made out. The four prong centre is firmly attached in all corners.
The vinyl is Ex / Ex minus- it has great sheen and plays well.  One or two surface marks prevent me giving it a full Ex / Ex+ grading.  It plays very very nicely.  This is a rare one and honestly described in detail, as with all my listings
A copy sold for £1050 recently, arguably not as good as this one so a fair start price of £850. I paid a lot more for this gem.
Thanks for looking.
