Description
If you're looking here you know this record and its legendary status so I will just stick to the facts regarding condition and authenticity.
Vinyl has light crackle and a few repetitive clicks but nothing that really overpowers the music. I'm sorry, I dont have the equipment to record an example but I have been collecting vinyl for 35 years and selling on ebay for years with 100% positive feedback, even on records more pricey than this, so I believe I know what I'm talking about.
Visually there is one long light non-feelable mark on side 1 all the way across and many smaller light marks. Most of the crackle is towards the beginning of each side and that is where most of the marks are. Side 2 also has one light non-feelable mark most of the way across as well as light crackle and a couple of louder clicks on track 4.
Etched in to deadwax:-
Side 1- D-24A **ARC 700320A jf(?)
Side 2- D-24B **ARC 700320B jf(?)
Both labels are clean but have spindle marks. Side 2 is the worst of the two with white showing through where the green was scratched. See photos.
Cover has 2 pinholes in the top left front corner which at least 3 other copies I've seen also had. The beginnings of ringwear are evident in front but this is still one of the nicer covers I've seen (see photos). Edges and spine are all intact and wear free but for a few tiny dents on the bottom edge. Back white cover is very clean. Original white inner sleeve is included but record has been in a non-abrasive poly sleeve for a while now.
