Description
This is an beautiful (VG+/EX) copy of "Take Five" by The Dave Brubeck Quartet. The is a US Columbia 6-eye Stereo copy with the red/black labels (CS 8192). I purchased this copy directly from the original owner who bought it in the early 1960's. The jacket is in VG+ condition -- it has only a couple of small creases and some corner wear. No seam splits. The vinyl is beautiful (EX) and still has the glossy iridescence of a new disc (see pictures)!
Based on the information I can find, the runout matrix (see below) is associated with some of the earliest copies! (However, the jacket on this copy says “Featuring Take Five", which was not on the very first edition). The insert contains ads for records from ‘59 and ‘60. So, it is certainly is a very early pressing!
