Description
The Dave Clark Five - If Somebody Love You
(Columbia SCX 6437 UK LP 1970)
This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a front textured sleeve which has rear flipbacks. It comes with its original company (EMI) paper inner sleeve. This is in VG+ condition. There is a small 7 cm seam split at the bottom centre.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has black, white & silver "Columbia" labels. They have "The Gramophone Co..." text & one boxed EMI logo. It has 1st press -2/ -2 matrix stampers.
A rare UK LP pressing. This is one of their less common UK LP's. A great UK Beat/ Rock/ Mod LP.
Sleeve: There is a 3 cm bit of rubbing wear/ seam split at the centre of the bottom edge. Otherwise light, or very light, rubbing wear in a few places. There is some light ringwear too. This sleeve is very prone to wear but this is a very clean copy overall. NEAR EX condition.
Vinyl: This LP was kept in an outer PVC sleeve for some time in the past. This has left some light to very mild PVC sleeve marks which can be viewed under a strong light. They do not affect play at all. Otherwise light to mild sleeve rubs. There are a couple of light marks on one side. One is quite long (8.5 cm). VG- condition. The labels are clean & show mild spindle wear. Plays Near Excellent overall & Excellent in many places. There is some light, or very light, crackle in a few quieter places.
Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
