For your consideration is this double LP by The Dave Matthews Band, Before These Crowded Streets. I found this copy at a very reputable local record store a couple years back. Visually sides A B & C are M- without even sleeve scuffs, side D is VG- with a blemish to the song "Spoon" it is about the width of a ball point pen and the length of a nickel thickness that runs with the groove, all this does is cause a click several revolutions and that's it.
I have cleaned this album with my Okki Nokki vacuum record cleaning machine to insure this album is the cleanest it will ever be. I used Disc Doctor record cleaning fluid, which is the best cleaner out there period. I clean the disc then rinse three times with distilled water to ensure all the soap is out, the final rinse I use a different suction wand to ensure no contamination. I then put the disc on the turntable and run a carbon fiber brush over it to reduce as much static as I can, then I put the clean disc into a fresh Quality Records rice inner sleeve to keep from contaminating the record. the nice thing is this rice inner sleeve fits into the original paper sleeve with lyrics, which are in great shape themselves. The outer cover is in shiny condition with no ring wear and no split seems with a readable spine there is one small crease in the corner as pictured. Enough with the cleaning and visual condition... how does it sound?

This is played on my Thoren's TD160 with a Linn Basik tonearm and a low usage clean Audio Technica AT440ml cartridge. Discs are flat as can be without a clamp installed and I don't have one to use. Lead in has some light cracklings and so does some of the silent parts on the first song, maybe I need a Zerostat, but this in minimal and not overpowering I think it's just static at loud volumes on my stereo. Overall this is a beautiful sounding recording with a great soundstage and amazing music. No clicks, pops or skipping except as mentioned the couple audible pops on the song "Spoon" overall you will be happy with these records. This is a true audiophile recording and is a must have to show off what your system can do and also for the ultimate DMB fan!
