For sale is this UK original vinyl 7" single, in a plain sleeve, by Dave Sampson & The Hunters. Entitled Why The Chicken?, the B-side is 1999. On the Columbia label, the catalogue number is 45-DB 4597 and the date of issue is 1961. There is a record company Factory Sample sticker on the B-side label (see pics).
Condition
The vinyl is in Excellent condition.
The labels are in Excellent condition, clean and bright with clear, perfect printing and only the very lightest of spindle marks.
All vinyl records are strictly graded according to Record Collector magazine's grading system, the long established UK standard, with any specific flaws mentioned along with the grading. They are sent in custom-made mailers, with built-in or added stiffeners, and are packaged outside their sleeves to prevent edge splits. Singles without a picture sleeve will either have a plain sleeve or a correct-era original (not repro) record company sleeve (stated above). Original record company sleeves may not be the exact sleeve issued with the single so may have a different catalogue number hand-written in the corner but they will be the correct design for the single. They may have a bit of wear, writing, stickers, sticker marks etc but will be in a generally good, useable condition without edge splits or sellotape.
