Description

Original 1970 release - Earth Rot - David Axelrod. "A Musical Comment on the State of the Environment."  Dedicated to saving the enviroment with a set of jazzy/funky selections mixing vibes, guitars, and horns. Lyrics adapted by Michael T. Axelrod from The Book Of Isaiah, The Old Testament and adapted from Song Of The Earth Spirit, A Navajo origin legend. The record's broken into two long suites "The Warnings" and "The Signs".  (See both pics - 2nd pic shows inside jacket fold out). Record has no visible scratches and outside of cover shows only light shelf wear. Inside fold out is nearly perfect. No tears splits or other damage. Record is in its original paper sleeve. Record has sat untouched in a smoke-free home on a shelf for over 30 years. This is in exceptional condition for it's age. Great for collectors. Up for low starting auction price.
