Description

This is a 7 day no-reserve auction for the ultra rare withdrawn artwork The Jean Genie / Ziggy Stardust 7" single released in Germany in 1973.

This first pressing single features the original David Bowie photography session/artwork by C + M Hudalla.

This artwork was soon withdrawn and replaced by RCA with the popular photo of Bowie from The Man Who Sold The World LP.

This original single picture sleeve also has the original faulty RCA first issue gummed edges which created a residue (see large photographs provided).

They are not sticky, just discolored. This method was replaced with a folded gummed edge in the later print of the first artwork. So please note this original factory rarity is not a sellotape repair or "damage" and is in mint minus condition.

The 7" vinyl single and the RCA label's are all completely original in mint condition, no signs of playing. Please see the large photographs provided to confirm the exact condition.

Please ask any questions you might have before bidding/buying.

UK, Europe and international shipping accepted, with tracking, as advertised. Single shipped securely packaged in a reinforced cardboard mailer with vinyl and picture sleeve stored separately.
