Description
This is an original copy of David Bowie's 1973 classic album Aladdin Sane from my collection. RCA Victor, UK pressing with the glossy orange labels which were used in first pressings. RS1001 (LSP4852). Matrices 3T/3T.
The vinyl has been played right through and carefully checked. Plays well with no jumps or skips. Has been cleaned and the vinyl is gleaming. With the sound up, there is some vinyl background crackle during some of the quieter moments and some pops and clicks as with most vinyl of this age but still sounds great throughout - a quality pressing.
The outer cover cardboard is still stiff. There is no ring wear on the front or back and there is virtually no edge wear which is very unusual for an album of this age and shows how well it has been looked after. I have tried to show how good the condition is in the photos. Please use the zoom function and look closely at the photos to see condition of the items as these form part of the description.
Comes with original lyric insert.
This is a particularly good copy of this album especially for a collector. It has been very well looked after having been stored vertically in a polythene sleeve. The vinyl has been stored in a new anti-static sleeve outwith the cover to preserve the outer cover and the original inner sleeve.
Comes from a smoking free and pet free home. Please ask any questions asked before bidding. Happy to answer anything asked.
Will be packaged robustly and well protected.
