DESCRIPTION: David Bowie LP- Aladdin Sane. 1st Uk press with gatefold sleeve, scarce Fan Club insert, hick card inner sleeve (along with orginal white inner that record sits in) , 3T/3T matix and glossy orange RCA labels. Packed this weighs over 500gm due to heavyweight card sleeve and inners so overseas postage is as for a double. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: RCA RS1001 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1973 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX+/EX+. Simply the best copy of this I have come across for years. Vinyl is super clean with a nice dark sheen, its EX+ visually under artificial light. Played all of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent and better. Even "Time" is pretty much immaculate. Music is clear and loud. Cover retains superb shape, spine is just fantastic, see photo 10. It is really clean and white with no foxing whatsoever. It is super firm and square and has negligable edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. Check out the photos of the inner- again the best i have had, on a par with my own copy and i see a lot of these. The fan club insert is around VG with some creasing and foxing. It is unused with no writing or rips. It had been kept away from the LP sleeve so has more wear. Super Clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Super copy. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
