Description

An early copy of AS, but not the very earliest obtainable. This is one of those copies and would have been on the shelves ready for purchase toward the end of the initial chart run. The labels still exhibit 'Stereo' at 12 o'clock and the matrix is 3T/3T - all consistent with 1st issue. These 1st issues copies are early enough to be pressed on very nice solid vinyl - and believe me this makes all the difference! We also have the lyric insert and an original inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. 
Vinyl (Ex) A superb looking copy and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveal a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are really nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Super audio throughout. All I could pick out were a few crackles in one isolated spot per side [e.g. as the track "Aladdin Sane" closes out]. Even 'TIME' plays nice and clean....and this is no easy find, along with 'LGS'. A beautiful player throughout. Recommended!
Cover (Ex-) In really nice condition - most examples will usually exhibit a lot of ageing and foxing by this point in time. But this cover is still mostly white - just lightest evidence of ageing toward the opening. The only vaguely noticeable issue on the front is a sticker removal mark in the extreme top left. It's a one inch patch where the surface has come away. There's almost no sign of edge wear. Even onto the spine - it's 100% intact and fully square. The openings are still sharp and the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Insert (Vg+) One fold running through it. Otherwise fine.
Inner (Ex-)  Lightest of ageing. No splits.
