David Bowie – Aladdin Sane - Vinyl LP 1973 - Gatefold - 1st Edition - Tested EX
Part of the early releases in 1973. This album comes in a matte thick cardboard gatefold sleeve with a printed cardboard inner sleeve containing lyrics for the songs, except for the cover version "Let's Spend The Night Together" which was missed off.
The record label track listings show where the songs were composed.
Just over 51 years old the vinyl carries a few hairlines. It was fully play tested and the playback was really strong. NO skips, sticking or jumping. There were odd bits of noise in between some tracks affecting some run-ins and fades, but it was very short and very light and did not interfere with the music in my view. It played to a minimum VG+ if not closer to Excellent.
The Sleeve is also in great condition. NO splits, rips or tears. As you would expect it is showing some signs of wear which is mostly a bit of discolouring. There is minimal rubbing to any of the edges, overall and for its age it is in really good condition. The cardboard inner sleeve is also in good condition.
