Description
This is an original Dutch album record only for David Bowie's debut album titled David Bowie
released in 1969 on Philips Records. The story of this record is that I originally bought it
off a man who used to run a record shop in the early 70's. He told me that it was sold in
the sleeve of The Man Who Sold The World hanging up behind the counter and that when
someone came in to buy it the shop assistant mixed it up with the wrong David Bowie album inside
and sold this debut Bowie album with the 'Dress Sleeve' and the debut album sleeve with the MWSTW album!
So I have had this for years and have decided to part with both - the sleeve and this debut
Philips album - both in this auction along with a lot of Bowie demo singles.
This disc has only a few light marks on it, a few of the lightest surface marks but looks excellent
yet I will grade it VG+ to be sure but they are minor flaws on what is an incredibly scarce item anyway.
Remember - there is NO sleeve with this item.
