Description

An original 1st press of DDs on the UK RCA label from 1974. Matrix A1/B1 Oly - very 1st cut. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Shorewood gatefold cover. Also included is a generic inner from the time [not strictly the original one].
Vinyl (Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a few light marks per side - nothing troublesome or sinister though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are pretty much silent and the audio comes across with superb clarity.  The TEST track I always tend to find issue with is 'We Are The Dead' - but this rendition is very nice and clean with no issues at all. Interference is both minor and infrequent. All I could detect were a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. 
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been carefully looked after - it might have graded a bit higher but for one issue on the rear. Lovely clean front which sits nice and flat and doesn't seem to exhibit any of the usual surface wear you typically find on this title. The rear looks good too, but there's a couple of creases showing and a name has been blocked out with black ink in the top left corner. The interior is superb - no issues. Edge wear is very light for this title and the openings are still sharp. The spine is pretty much entirely intact and, overall, the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-)  No splits and little ageing.
