David Bowie "Dollars In Drag" ~ 1LP Rare (Early issue, rare sleeve insert, lovely vinyl)
This is an interesting issue of this album. It includes both a copy of the TAKRL sleeve insert and a sleeve insert that was issued with the rare re-issue of the Pigs Eye pressing of this album. This sleeve insert does not appear for sale very often.
Condition of the vinyl: Very Good/Excellent- (Visual Inspection). The vinyl is glossy, clean and shiny. They are hair lines and other line marks on both Sides A and B which may affect play. The labels show signs of age. The vinyl was housed in an anti-static sleeve. This copy has very interesting "matrix" engravings in the vinyl run outs:
Side One: "Bowie Is Great I Know Guy Devarine 1906A (6 crossed out) 1905A Wow! I Haven't Been Caught Yet" Side Two: "1906B (1906B crossed out) 1905B D Bowie One Nine Zero Five TAKRL 1905B T Fone Side 2 Dollars In Drag MX175879BA222138 Dollars In Drag"
Condition of the sleeve: Very Good/Excellent-. The plain cardboard sleeve is in good condition and still housed in a plastic sleeve which probably protected the album when it was new. The front yellow rare sleeve insert is in very good conniption due to the plastic sleeve. The rear sleeve may have been trimmed on all four edges and added to the album some time later. It is good condition. No sleeve splits. The sleeve states "stereo". It is not.
Some manufacturers and distributors of this class of album did not take that much care of the albums so it was not unusual for these types of albums to be in less than pristine condition when your received them. Quality control was not always a major priority.
Tracks: 1984 - Dodo / Sorrow / Everything's Alright / Space Oddity / The Supermen / Hang On To Yourself / Man In The Middle / I Can't Explain / Time / The Jean Genie / I Got You Babe.

This item will be posted up to 3 business days after the successful conclusion of the sale.
US customers must pay as per the Worldwide shipping costs set out in the Postage and Shipping details.
I am happy to combine postage and shipping costs if you purchase multiple items.
Records will be packaged very well with proper vinyl record mailers and stiffeners. The vinyl will also be carefully packaged outside of the sleeve in order to avoid seam splits and/or further damage to the album sleeve during transit.
