Description
Rare copy of David Bowie's 1997 album Earthling on vinyl. It was played through maybe a handful of times in the year after it came out. 'Battle For Britain' a bit more because it was my favourite and I put it on a few compilation tapes.
Overall I'd say it's in EX condition. There's a small crease on the bottom left hand corner of the cover and two even smaller creases on the top of the back cover. The bottom has no shelf wear and the top has one small patch, about an inch slightly worn along the top right hand side. There's a couple of marks on the vinyl during 'Little Wonder' (first track on side one), one is a small scratch about 1cm long in the middle of the track, the other is a 1mm x 1cm patch that looks like it's had a drop of liquid on it at some point. Playing the track now the scratch is inaudible to me, but the patch produces a faint crackle in the background towards the end of the track. Otherwise the vinyl is in lovely condition, about as you'd expect from a record that has been carefully handled with only a few superficial (mostly factory) markings that shouldn't effect play.
It was released by BMG/RCA and the catalogue number is 74321 449-441.
It's also a great album! I'd say one of his best, definitely my favourite of his later work.
