Description
Recently, my uncle passed away, and the job has fallen to me to deal through his large collection of memorabilia. He was born in 1961, and his estate was packed full of vintage 1960's and 70's treasures.
All I know about this next item is what I've read--that this is a set of exclusive 7" picture discs that was only released in the UK. There are ten in a binder-type wallet. The vinyl looks clean, and the records really look to be unplayed. A couple of the vinyl pockets have small splits at the side seams, but nothing major.
That's 20 picture-disc sides! It appears to be one of the first ways that lots of these rare tracks were released (before the days of Rykodisc). Here are the contents of the ten records:
1) Space Oddity / Changes, Velvet Goldmine
2) Life On Mars / The Man Who Sold The World
3) The Jean Genie / Ziggy Stardust
4) Rebel Rebel / Queen Bitch
5) Sound And Vision / A New Career In A New Town
6) Drive-In Saturday / Around And Around
7) Sorrow / Amsterdam
8) Golden Years / Can You Hear Me?
9) Boys Keep Swinging / Fantastic Voyage
10) Ashes To Ashes / Move On
It starts at only $1 and NO RESERVE!
Buyer to pay $10 shipping to anywhere in the USA. Paypal is accepted and preferred. From smoke-free, pet-free home.
PLEASE NOTE: Auction is open to US RESIDENTS ONLY. Please do not email me and ask if I can ship to foreign countries, because I am not doing any international or air mail shipping at this time.
Thanks for looking--please check out my other auctions--lots more vintage goodness up this week as well!
