Description
This is the super-rare Revelations for Glastonbury Fayre triple LP, a stunning collection of far out music on three discs. This was originally released in early 1972 and many of the tracks were recorded live at the legendary 1971 festival. It also includes David Bowie's stunning acoustic version of The Supermen! Other artists included are The Edgar Broughton Band, Pink Fairies, Brinsley Schwarz, The Grateful Dead, Pete Townsend, Skin Alley, Hawkwind and Daevid Allen and Gong. It comes with the original three by two feet folding sleeve insert with a giant image of the pyramid on one side and a cracking looking hippy on the other. It does NOT come with the other extras, like the book or the mobile, but the original printed pvc plastic sleeve is still intact. This is in VG+ condition with a little wear on edges, but generally very presentable. The card sleeve inside is also VG+ with no marks or writing and no major creases. The vinyl is EX to EX+. It has been really nicely looked after over the years, and the grooves are gleaming across all six sides. It plays great! I am happy to combine auction wins to reduce the shipping costs.
