Description

David Bowie - Hunky Dory 3E-4E RCA Victor Gem logo Very Early Issue No Mainman anywhere on the record or cover

Ebay recommended price is £68 so I've priced this VERY fairly for such a great copy of Hunky Dory

Genuine 1971 release, nice heavy grooved vinyl that the first releases came with. And you can hear the difference in sound.

The Vinyl record is in beautiful condition, very clean and glossy only a VERY few very light feathering.

I play all my albums before listing and this is one of the very best sounding Hunky Dory copies that I've heard in a long time, it is so quiet at the start and between the tracks, no nasty background noise or crackling, there is one small mark on Life On Mars that causes a click for a few seconds.

No skips or sticks. It's in EXCEPTIONAL condition.

If this copy had Bobil in the runout groove it would be 3 times the price, yet its basically the same pressing/ release minus Bobil or Rasputin

It's got the exact same etched APRS 5947 on the runout groove.

Brilliant audio as good as it gets for a vintage Hunky Dory.

The record sleeve is still in very good order with some ringwear and a couple of buffs on 2 of the corners, BUT most importantly the album card is still strong, rigid and sturdy with no splits anywhere.. The Spine is in fantastic order.

The rear of the cover is still nice and clean and white..

Hunky Dory covers do not last well and are usually very worn and frayed NOT this one, whilst not perfect it's got loads of life left in it

The original inner lyric sleeve is also in very good order with no marks or writing or tares.

Thanks for looking
