David Bowie Hunky Dory LP UK 1st PRESS [Ex/Ex-] Sweet 3T/1T

An original 1st UK press of Hunky. Note that some really early copies have a laminated cover . Matrix 3T/1T. As I understand it/understood it the 3T/3T...is the earliest possible variation. But under close inspection I am seeing what looks a lot like '1T' on side 2 - and it certainly isn't a '3T'. So, this could very well be an undocumented early take just before they settled on 3T/3T. I am not making any claims about particular rarity or anything. It's a 1st pressing - end of, and I am mentioning the matrix suffix as I see it [for clarity that's all].  Labels are perfectly consistent with 1st press and mention Titanic publishing. The etchings are Bobil/Rasputin and this is only found on the early copies. Lovely chunky vinyl with shiny labels. The vinyl comes housed in an original standard cover with no reference to Mainman. There's also the inner too. But no insert for the credits
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In very nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a few slight marks per side - nothing heavy or nasty looking. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback just some deviation in a couple of spots per side. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Just a bit of presence in a couple of spots per side - usually the uber fussy moments. Like '10 line Poem' which plays better than you typically find - bit not perfectly quiet. The spoken word passage before Warhol starts - could be cleaner. But everywhere else ---  Very impressive. To be honest it is near impossible to find these fussy moments perfectly clean anyway. A couple of isolated ticks in a couple of spots per side [e.g. FYH]  - nothing unpalatable. 'Queen Bitch' rocks like no other! The occasional tick here and there in 'Bewlay Brothers' which plays pretty well. Other than that expect a clean feed which is precisely what u need to insist on for this title. "Quicksand" sounds amazing. Overall superb!
Cover (Ex-) In great shape for the vintage exhibiting just the slightest handling. Lovely clean surfaces very hard to find like this. Not much wear on the edges and minimal sign of ageing. One tiny patch of wear at top middle. Spine is 90% intact with minimal wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity..
Inner [Vg+] Light ageing. No spits.
