David Bowie- Hunky Dory
Original US press with lyrics insert/sleeve RCA LSP 4623
Vinyl- In VG condition. Visually has a number of minor marks (superficial, no major ones) on both sides. However, it plays through without jumps or skips. Some minor background crackle between tracks and during quieter parts. Not a museum copy but have checked it right through and sounds great! No spindle wear to be seen either!
Inner vinyl markings/deadwax: Side 1 APRS-5947-35- A1B ('R' at 8'o clock) Side 2 APRS-5948-35-A1A ('R' at 8'o clock)
Cover- G+. The unique textured cover of the US orig has seam splits on both top (approx 4.5") and bottom ( approx 2"), which I would think can be easily repaired. It also has a fold mark on the bottom right (see picture). Will send it in a plastic outer sleeve to avoid further damage during postage. Also has a tiny bit of a mark on the front picture (above Bowie's lip).
Very rare to find an original US press- this version came without writing on the front (unlike the UK version) and a textured sleeve and includes the equally rare inner sleeve with lyrics. Low starting price too!
