Description
Nice presentable early pressing of Bowie’s all-time classic 1971 album. This copy does not have ‘MainMan’ on the rear sleeve, but is credited on the labels. Matrix numbers are APRS 5957 – 2E/APRS 5918 3T. The word ‘Rasputin’ is etched on the dead wax on Side 2.
Sleeve VG+ In clean and tidy condition. Light rubbing and creasing, mainly to the corners. Small seam split along the top edge.
Labels Ex Very clean, hardly any spindle traces. Some age spots on the Side 1 label.
Inner VG+ Original plain white bag. Rather age-yellowed.
Lyric sheet VG+ In very good shape. Light handling wear only.
Record Visually Ex/Ex+, great shine to the vinyl. One or two very light hairlines seen under a strong light. Plays really well throughout, some ‘rumble’ heard at times during the quieter moments on Side 1. Otherwise clear and powerful audio, a very satisfying listen.
