This UK 1st pressing dates from just after December 1971 release on the glossy RCA label: SF 8244
The labels states this is a 'Gem Production' with 'Chrysalis/Titanic' publishing credits.
The 'Mainman' is not present on the labels or cover.
Matrices: APRS 5947-3T & APRS 5948-3T
'Bobil' & 'Rasputin' are hand-etched into each respective run-out.
Vinyl weight: 134g
Housed in a matt 'Robert Stace' printed cover with the 'Gem' logo on the rear panel.
No lyric insert is present but the original white inner-sleeve is.
CONDITION
Disc: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces if this cherished disc are clean & glossy with no noticeable surface marks visible in strong daylight and only some harmless wispy paper-type hairlines beneath halogen light. There are no clicks, pops or any other such distractions and even some light vinyl background in quieter passages and between tracks does little to detract from the fact that this is easily the best sounding vinyl version of this amazing album.
Cover: EXCELLENT -
Fully intact with minor storagewear only. Both front & rear panels are clean & unrubbed with just a little shelfwear bruising to the lower left corner. Both seams are unstressed and the spine is clean & fully worded.
