Description

David Bowie Hunky Dory LP UK 1st Press /Rasputin** SUPER AUDIO!

2E/3T Rasputin on the runout  grooves, both Etched and stamped

This is a great sounding VERY EARLY copy of Hunky Dory, and more importantly its a 1971 copy,   which are easily the best sounding and recognised by mist as the best audio version of Hunky Dory

No Mainman present anywhere on this copy

Yes, it has the early Titanic publishing credit - but it's those etchings that identify the very earliest copies. The earliest copies have lovely shiny labels and are pressed really heavy [so, more than one reason to go for them].

Early heavy deep grooved vinyl only available on the very first pressing

2 major benefits, they sound the best and also they last the longest!!

They don't make them like that anymore

I test play all my vinyl on my Project Essential deck and it plays and sounds fantastic, NO sticks or jumps as that is the main thing I listen for

There is the odd click and a bit of  surface noise/crackle in the quiter parts, but it sounds fantastic

The Vinyl is lovely and clean with a great gloss,  under strong light it has a few light feathers and non feel able marks that do not cause any STICKS or  JUMPS, MOST IMPORTANTLY it sounds really great,

The early 71 releases were pressed on heavy deep grooved vinyl bit is just about bombproof, they really last the test of time

I have graded it as very good plus...and thsts me being pretty picky..as it plays and sounds fantastic

The album cover is  in near MINT condition. It us by far and away the best Hunky Dory cover I have ever had and I've had loads of them

Hunky Dory covers do not age well, they are 50 years old after all and it's super rare to see a cover in this condition

I am so tempted to keep it because I doubt I'll ever get one so good again

The Inner rare lyric insert is present and is also in very decent condition,

Please study the pics to make your own mind up, I try to make my pics as clear as possible and ensure that in the case of the cover and inner cover/insert you see them completely, if that makes sense

Great copy of Hunky Dory from it's first year of release 1971 and for over 50 years old it's lasted very well

Sorry for the long winded description but I feel it's important to get as much detail as possible for anyone interested.

I wouldn't buy an album with a 3 line description. Maybe works for some folk. But not me.

Thanks for looking
