Description

An original OOP very first vinyl pressing from RCA Victor in 1971.  A record from my own collection and a gem of a find if your a Bowie fan.  I have seen these versions in vinyl markets and shops for over £100.00 pounds!!

The sleeve is the original 1st press, not the later sleeve which was re-issued in 1972 after the success of Ziggy Stardust. This is one of the most sought after David Bowie LPs and is rarely seen on ebay, although I notice there is another one at the moment.  It is rarer than 'David Bowie' on Deram, 'David Bowie' on Philips and rarer even than The Man Who Sold The World' on Mercury with the infamous dress cover. Comes complete with picture lyric inner.

The condition of the vinyl is mint and it has only been played a few times.  The cover has a slight wear on the top center about 3" accross the cover where the record imprint is slightly visible, it is minor and the photo does not show it.  The insert is immacualte with no marks or creases.

This really is a lovely piece of rock history, own it and place it pride of place in your collection, which has where it has been in mine for the past 39 years :)
