ITALIAN WHITE LABEL PROMOTIONAL COPY of this classic song The Jean Genie (b/w Hang On To Youself) which was voted Single of The Year by many UK record magazines in '73.
The Ziggy Stardust period 1973 was a historic moment in David Bowies career and this vinyl single indexes the period while Bowie was touring and writing in the USA, the result was the LP Aladdin Sane from which this single is taken.
The picture sleeve remains widely recognised as one of the best ever. There is a water mark on the reverse of the sleeve (which also has the same picture on as the front) . The sleeve is otherwise colourful and in excellent condition with only slight creases from handling since its release over 30 years ago!!
The record vinyl itself has only minimal signs of playing but the A side label has some colour bleed from the sleeve water mark. If you want more informations please contact me before bidding.
