David Bowie LOW RARE PROMO SEALED Orig 1977 LP

This is a very Rare Sealed Promo Original David Bowie Low LP from 1977. (RCA Records CPL1-2030)   This is the album's first promotional pressing which still has a promo sticker and a second sticker on top of the shrink wrap listing the songs.  I have not been able to find this same promo album anywhere else.  This is not a "brand new" album or a re-issue, this is the original release album from 34 years ago.  The vinyl is assumed Mint- to Mint as it has all of the shrink wrap still intact sealing the entire album except for where the wrap is torn to place the promo sticker on. (see photo)  There is the slightest wear on the cover corner edge where the shrink wrap is torn and there are two tiny air holes in the wrap covering on the back jacket.  This LP is from my own personal collection.  I will ship this album in a custom sturdy cardboard mailer with an extra sheet of cardboard inside for protection as well as being placed inside an acid-free clear archival resealable polypropylene bag for protection of your investment.

Each album is graded using the Goldmine rating system as a guide with only a visual inspection of each album’s cover and vinyl.

MINT COVER:  Perfect condition! It looks like it has just left the manufacturer, with NO flaws what so ever. It looks as though it had never been handled. No scuffs or scratches, blotches or stains. No stickers address labels, writing on the covers or labels. No tears or seam splits. 

MINT VINYL:  Only a sealed album gets this rating as the vinyl is assumed to be in Mint condition. 

NEAR MINT COVER: The cover should look as close to perfect with only minor signs of wear and or age. Minor impressions to the cover due to the outer edge of the vinyl resting inside.  The artwork should be as close to perfect as can be.

NEAR MINT VINYL:  Album should appear virtually flawless. A very unnoticeable minor scuff and very little else can appear on the vinyl. This will most likely have occurred during packaging or removing the record from the inner sleeve but had been handled with extreme care. When you listen to it, it should play without any noise over the flaw. The flaw should be very hard to see.

VG++ COVER: Artwork should still be as close to perfect as can be. Minor outer ring wear.  Slight creases to the corners, but not wrinkled and obtrusive to the eye.  No seam splits or writing on the cover or taped repairs.

VG++ VINYL: Minor scuffs are visible but only slightly. The wear should be minimal. No scratches.

VG+ COVER: A virtually clean cover, but may have small writing on it.  The artwork should look clean with slightly more aging. Some minor wear to the seams or spine, but no tears or holes popping through. The corners will be slightly dog eared yet no crackly bends, defacing the artwork.

VG+ VINYL: Shows some wear, surface scuffs and some very light scratches.

VG COVER: Some seam splitting, ring wear, writing on the cover and discoloration. 

VG VINYL:  Appears well played but still has some luster. The vinyl may be faded, slightly grayish, yet appears to have been handled as carefully as it could have been. Surface noise will be minor crackle or a slight hiss, but should only be heard in between tracks or in low musical passages.
