Description
David*Bowie LP The 1980 Floor Show Fan Club Release Promo Nite Breaker 1982
1x 12'' black vinyl set with black text & images on yellow paper insert & plain card cover
The 'Show' at the Marquee Club,Soho,London, where David Bowie resurrected his 'Ziggy Stardust' alter-ego, for one last time, also includes other tracks including 'Arnold Corns' etc largely found on side 2 ( matrix 4277 AR )
Only ever broadcast on US TV, never 'shown' to my knowledge in the UK.
Some true 'classic moments' and more, in the 'ever changing but never boring' David*Bowie story
Mega rare '...''FAN CLUB use only'' 1982 Nite Breaker White Label black text promo edition on 12'' black wax/vinyl
Vinyl graded Excellent
Please note that this rare issue has the mixed side matrix : Runout etchings do not match typical Side A/B, they are reversed.
see photos which show a very small black ink number 1 on the label of matrix 4277 BR for the first side to play
( the second side with the matrix 4277 AR has a small black ink number 2 simply for ease of play-is not shown in the photos but is barely noticed imo)
Tracklisting Notes:
A1 to A5, B2 to B5: Live
A6, B1: Studio
Sleeve Notes:
"For authorized Fan Club use only."
"Fan Club Release"
"Sorry 'Bout Amsterdam"
"Some Stereo, Mono mostly"
Audio play graded at Excellent with the occasional audibles of background crackle here and there on this DB collector rarity making for surprising decent audio for it's time of recording (1973), year of issue (1982 ) and 'type' of pressing.
Two tiny marks, approx 1mm each at the start of play side 1 ( audible mid-level crackle, not clicking !) for a few bars of music )
The plain white card sleeve is VG-,due to damage on bottom left of front card cover & bottom right of the rear card cover.Easily concealed or left as it is, but left to the auction winner to decide.see photos
Importantly,as per the visual condition & audio grading, the rare Yellow wrap round insert has an Excellent,Ziggy/Halloween Jack etc back cover section glued in place, as part of the wrap round.
Overall the rare Insert is graded Excellent
The best Vinyl & Insert I have seen in years and now, a highly sought after collectable (not takrl 1905 $s in Drag, or slat 1987 ) but Yellow Insert 'Nite Breaker' promo labels '...Fan Club..' 1982.
A real gem for the serious Bowie collector.please see photos.
btw...not to be confused with the widely available 2016 reissue !
