Description
David Bowie 'Live At Santa Monica 1972', This is an original 'Trade Mark Of Quality' release which I believe was first pressed in 1974.
I have owned this record since the early 80s, I bought it from a stall in the original Stables Market in Camden, London. The previous owner has customised the gatefold sleeve and added the album title and track list which is partially coloured in, I assume they got bored as they did not complete it. The original TMOQ cover/insert is glued to the front. The cover is made of very thick card and faded at the edges and although a bit roughed up is still very sound.
The discs are pressed on good thick vinyl. There are some scratches, these are quite light and cannot be felt, I have tried to photograph the worst. There are also quite a few marks that originate from the pressing, if you're conversant with 70s boots you'll know what I mean. I will also point out that the label for side 2 is way off-centre and broaches the run-out groove. I haven't played this record for over 20 years but from memory one the discs is a crackly pressing, visually I would say this is disc 1.
