Brand new and sealed copy of David Bowie - Look At The Moon! (Live Phoenix Festival 97). Boxed and ready to ship.
The cover is nothing short of breathtaking. It has a matt finish, which makes you wish you had worn silk gloves when removing it from its (loose fitting) shrink-wrap. The photos are fantastically hi-definition, the colours are mesmerising. You'll want to look at them for hours. At first, the inner sleeves look matt black with gold lettering and detailing. They are actually a dark chocolate brown with bronze. The discs themselves come in plain, rice-paper lined bags. I would've liked to have seen a few more photos in there, but like the man himself, you are left gasping for more.
I haven't had a chance to listen to the music yet. I will be doing that over this weekend. I guess it will take more than a few listens to get it out of my system.
The photos included are from my own personal copy. The item itself is brand new and sealed. The album will be shipped in a reinforced cardboard record mailer. Up to 5 12" records can be combined and delivered for the one price. Double/triple lp's count as 2/3 records. Please note that, due to the current international crisis, delivery may be delayed. This is beyond my control.
David Bowie - Brilliant Live Adventures In October 2020, a series of 6 live concert albums was announced by label Parlophone. These 6 albums would be released individually, but collectively form a series called "Brilliant Live Adventures". "Brilliant Adventure" is the name of a song Bowie wrote and included on his album Hours (1999). The first three albums were released at the end of 2020, with the remaining albums due to arrive in 2021.
Completely unreleased until now, LOOK AT THE MOON! Is the fourth in the Brilliant Live Adventures series of 90s live albums.
Recorded live at The Phoenix Festival, Long Marston, England on 20th July, 1997, LOOK AT THE MOON! features such previously unreleased rarities as a cover of Laurie Anderson’s ‘O Superman’, which the band had also played at their secret show as 'The Tao Jones Index’ show at the festival the previous day.
