Description

An original 1st press of Low on the RCA label from 1977. Matrix A1/B2. Etching 'Sterling'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by Garrodprint Ltd. - with a track listing sticker stuck on the rear. There is no insert present unfortunately.
Vinyl (Vg/Vg+) In nice condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection there are a few light marks either side - nothing heavy though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly VERYGOOD+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are reasonably quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference, for the most part, is minor. But there is a bit of static showing up here and there. We picked up a couple of pops on side 1 and then a few crackles and the odd tick in Warsaw. Overall a very decent rendition providing you are not uber fussy.
Cover (Vg) Exhibiting a bit of surface wear front and back - mostly just ring wear. Edge wear is reasonably light and the text on the spine is still mostly legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
