David Bowie Man Who Sold The World Dress Cover Uk 1st Pressing 6338 041 Rare.
This is the mega rare 1st pressing of David bowies third album. It has the textured sleeve where David is wearing the mr fish dress on the cover.
It’s an iconic image and still looks fabulous today.
The cover is in excellent condition. It has some light rubbing and light wear to the edges. A handful of half moon creases. The spine is fully readable and there are no splits. The cover is really nice condition and still looks great. Colours are bright and clear. No writing, stickers or tears. It’s a great cover and one of the best I’ve seen. Please see pictures.
The vinyl has hardly any marks at all - there is nothing deep or feelable and it plays really well. It plays excellent without any issues. It sounds full with dynamic sound. The phillips (mercury) pressing is far superior to the RCA press the following year. It looks very clean and near mint vinyl surface.
I think you’ll struggle to find a better copy. Last nice one sold for over £4000 on eBay.
It comes with its original polylined inner sleeve.
A very rare album.
