Description
I have been an avid collector of vinyl for 30+ years. Now the time has come for me to depart with some items from my beloved collection in order to downsize. Please see my other items if this interests you.
This is an original uk vinyl pressing of the Classic David Bowie album - Young Americans
Outstanding example of an early pressing which looks and sounds superb.
On Orange RCA Victor label this has the following matrix numbers:
Side 1: RS - 1006 - A - 1E
Side 2: RS - 1006 - B - 3E
Record is absolutely stunning, EX+ at least. There are maye a few, very difficult to spot very light, wispy surface marks which have no bearing on the sound. Labels are clean, free from writing, very little spindle wear. This has seen very little turntable time ...a damn shame given how good the album is. Inner sleeve is white poly lined - EX Outer Sleeve is EX- There's some wear to top and bottom spines. Side spine still nicely readable and square though there is a little edgewear. No Splits No Ringwear Just a few hairlines around the edges. Tracks are as follows: Young Americans Win Fascination RightSomebody Up There Likes Me Across the Universe Can You Hear Me Fame

Record Collector's Grading System
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
