Very Rare 45rpm
Of David Bowie’s
1970 Italian Import
“Ragazzo Solo, Ragazza Sola”
His Version Of ‘Space Oddity’
Sung By Bowie In Italian
Very good condition of a rare 1970 vinyl 45 rpm single of
the late great David Bowie’s classic first smash hit ‘Space Oddity’
sung in Italian with new lyrics. This special version of “Space Oddity”
was commissioned for the Italian market and released in early 1970.
Instead of translating the lyrics of the original version, a love story about
a young couple that meet on the top of a mountain, and is entitled
“Ragazzo solo, ragazza sola” meaning “Lonely Boy, Lonely Girl”.
Bowie recorded the Italian vocal on December 20th in1969 with the
B Side of ‘Wild Eyed Boy From Free Cloud’.
This is on the Philips label and is made in Italy.
Experience the music the way it was meant to be heard in all the warm tones
of its analog stereophonic vinyl sound and not the inferior audio of MP3s.
