David Bowie - The Rise & Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars LP
I aquired this example from a lady who bought it after seeing Bowie in concert at age 15. It has been very well looked after and barely played and certainly not in the last 30 years. A very nice 1st Uk pressing example of this sought after LP. Pressed on thick vinyl not the later 'Dynaflex' versions. There is a complete absence of any reference to 'Mainman'. Publishing credits are to 'Titanic'. Complete with 1E/2E matrix numbers and intact inner lyric sleeve. Truly hard to find in this condition these days.
RECORD - EX/EX
Play tested throughout. Strong clear & vibrant audio throughout. It really does sound excellent! A couple of noticeable surface marks particularly on 'Soul Love' but they are non-sounding and do not affect play.
LABELS - EX+/EX+
Fantastic bright orange RCA labels with no writing. Difficult to see any spindle traces around centre hole indicating a few careful plays.
SLEEVE - EX+
This sleeve is in fantastic condition compared to others I have seen over the years. There is a hint of ringwear to the front top, very light creasing towards the spine and gentle rubbing on one or two corners but thats all. No splits, no tears, no writing. Spine intact and all text visible. Very nice.
INNER SLEEVE - EX
This sleeve is often badly damaged due to its lightweight construction. This one is great. No splits or tears. Light ringwear is evident. There is a name and a date written on the top (see photo).

Record Collector Grading System (+ or - may be added to the grade)
- MINT (M) - the record itself is in brand new condition.
- EXCELLENT (EX) - the record shows some signs of being played but there is very little lessening in sound quality . The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.
- VERY GOOD (VG) - the record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items is acceptable without any major defects.
