Description
Dear record lover,
This auction is for a UK white label test pressing of David Bowie's 1976 LP Station To Station (see below for specific details).
This is one of a number of rare or collectable vinyl records we are auctioning, or selling at a fixed price, on an ongoing basis.
Each of our auctions involves a realistic starting price and no reserve, in order to keep the transaction entirely transparent.
This item: David Bowie, Station To Station vinyl LP. White label test pressing.
Label/catalogue number: RCA APL1 1327A/B
Territory of origin/year of release: UK, 1976
Overall condition: Fair to good
Sleeve: Fair to good; white die-cut inner sleeve only, with several creases (it is the authentic original sleeve!)
Vinyl: Fair to good, well-played, with several marks. We've played the record through, and it jumps once (early on TVC 15); otherwise, it plays as per VG to EX, with some minor pops and crackles but no other major faults.
Label: VG
Inners/inserts: n/a
General notes: The six track titles are hand-written on the label in italicised capital letters, in blue biro. The record's catalogue number is written in black pen or possibly pencil on a white sticker attached to the label.
Matrix details: The figures/letters 2E and A1A appear on the run-out grooves on both sides, while 'M' appears on the side one run-out.
This item was acquired from a former NME editorial staffer, and we can vouch for its integrity and authenticity.
Terms and conditions: Our normal despatch time is 48-72 hours.
We visually grade our records strictly according to the internationally-recognised UK Record Collector grading standard. We endeavour to give the most comprehensive descriptions, and we always aim to grade conservatively in order to be as fair as possible to buyers.
Before leaving negative feedback, please talk to us so that we may try to resolve any area of dispute.
Thanks for your interest, and good luck if you decide to bid!
