What a bargain - not only do you get a great Bowie song but it's paired up on the Thai EP with the Bay City Rollers, Donny and Marie and......wait for it.........Captain and Tennille.
What were these people thinking of........
Obviously not an official Bowie release but quite sought after by the completest. Issued on ROYALSOUND TKR 366 and released in November 1975
Scan of actual item doesn't really do it many favours but it's hard to put it much better than a good - strong vg. The cover is thin gloss paper and is intact with no splits or tears, probably just needs an iron!
Disc however is a strong ex - doesn't look played - I know I never played it!!
There'll be another Thai release next week whilst I decide what to do with the rest........
I'm considering unloading my collection of Bowie singles - there's over 300 different picture sleeve releases from all around the world from the 60's up to the end of Scary Monsters (RCA period). Using Marshall Jarman's book as a reference there's a few missing to make it complete but they just don't seem to appear when I'm in a buying mood, some are as rare as hens teeth but others are the Spanish and Portuguese variations - I can't even get the Belgium release of Fashion!!
Anyone got any advice on the best way forward?? Seems a shame to break up the collection - sell all the rare ones and be left with 200 that appear everyday on ebay for sod all.
