Description
DESCRIPTION: David Bowie LP- The Man Who Sold The World. Original USA press with paste on "Cartoon" cover aand original white inner. ONe of the cleanest looking and sounding copies of this that I have come across. On a par with my own copy. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Mercury Stereo SR 61325 YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970ish- not stated on cover or record. Any questions please ask. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: USA CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/EX. Both cover and vinyl are much, much closer to EX than VG. Vinyl is really clean with a nice sheen. A couple of really light hairlines under artificial light prevent me from grading visual EX but i may also be robbing myself. Played passages of this today on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds excellent. Clear and loud. Cover is in top shape. It is still really clean and white. It is firm and square and has only light edgewear, cornerwear and creasing. NO edge splits. It has a small deletion drill hole through the A of David on cover. Very clean labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP.. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. ALL ITEMS (OR COMBINATIONOF ITEMS) SELLING FOR OVER £30 MUST BE SENT SIGNED FOR OR AIRSURE TO COMPLY WITH PAYPAL POLICIES- ASK ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS. IF YOU HAVE 0 FEEDBACK PLEASE EMAIL ME PRIOR TO BIDDING OR I WILL CANCEL YOUR BID. EMAIL ME FIRST AND THERE SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM! CHEERS- STAN.
