Description
David Bowie 'The Man Who Sold the World' (1970 US Mercury Original) NOT BOOTLEG!
This is a NON - BOOTLEG copy of this record with a STAMPED MATRIX. Note from Discogs on identifying non-counterfeit pressings:
The following visual indicators can be used to confirm an original US Mercury LP:
• The matrices in the runout (the space between the label and the grooves) are machine stamped (the counterfeits are hand etched).
• The space between the final lyric line of The Supermen and the cartoon bubble "Oh By Jingo" on the back cover is approximately the height of a line of text, while on the counterfeits the space is notably wider."

ALL PICTURES FOR THIS LISTING CONFIRM THIS AS AN ORIGINAL, OFFICIAL PRESSING.
This record is from my own, well maintained collection. Please look at pictures for best indication of condition.
Cover Sleeve: VG Clear, clean picture but some damage from sticker removal. Bottom seam split about 6.5 inches in length, top seam split 1.5 inches in length. Small punch hole through Mercury logo on front. Please study pics carefully for depictions of these flaws. Clear plastic inner sleeve.
Vinyl: VG, near VG+
Clean and glossy with some superficial surface marks, including one (see pics) which makes some five light, audible clicks during the second half of 'The Width of a Circle'. Otherwise, excellent audio throughout with low surface noise - rare to find in this condition.
