Description
David Bowie Live at Friars, Aylesbury, September 25, 1971. A limited edition of 100 on blue vinyl both the record and the sleeve are in mint condition.
What we have here is the earliest and one of the rarest Bowie recordings of all time - the Pre-Ziggy Stardust show, only weeks before Bowie had his first meeting with Andy Warhol at the Factory in New York (September 1971). Weeks later Bowie and his new band would start rehearsals at the Underhill Rehearsals Studios, South London; the new band would soon be named the Spiders From Mars, and Ziggy would be there.
The rest is history as they say...
