Description

A Ruthless Rhymes recording of a 1971 BBC "in concert" radio show prior to the whole Ziggy stardom thing. Bowie's compered by John Peel no less. So, this LP is likely to be of interest to a real Bowie fan who understands the historical significance. Do not expect a high tech recording straight from the recording studio - this is strictly lo-fi!
Vinyl (Vg+) In great shape and has been well cared for. Under close inspection we can only make out a few light marks - nothing troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a VERGOOD+ level of playback. Can't really grade any higher than that because this is a relatively low-fi recording and is never going to compare with the official studio albums. There's a bit of light interference in places - nothing invasive. Plays back very nicely. A couple of tracks are a little 'muddy' - due to the recording. Others fare a good bit better...Just don't expect studio crystal clarity!
Cover (Vg) In great shape and has been well cared for. The front is relatively clean - just a touch of grubiness at the extremities. The rear is exhibiting a bit of handling wear and light ageing in places - nothing excessive. There's a bit of edge wear, but overall the integrity of the cover is still very good.
