DESCRIPTION: David Bowie LP- The Rise & Fall Of Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars. Original and complete 1st UK pressing with machine stamped matrix ending 1E/1E, No Mainman on sleeve, labels or inner, printed inner sleeve with wavy top edge, glossy RCA orange labels and lighter poorly focused print sleeve. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: RCA SF 8287 (LSP 4702). YEAR OF RELEASE: 1972 COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG+/VG. Vinyl is really clean with a nice sheen. Some brushing lines and a few hairlines when tilted to light that prevent higher visual grade but have no effect on playback. Played this almost in its entirety tonight on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent and better. Music is clear, clean and loud. "5 years", "It Aint Easy" and "Rock N Roll Suicide" all play really clean. Cover is in nice shape. It is firm and square and has light to moderate edge wear, corner wear and not much more than light creasing that is pretty much confined to 2 corners. Decent shape to fully legible spine. Original printed lyric inner is one of the best I have had for this LP. It is clean and white, firm and square with light wear and (very unusually) no splits. Nice clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
