I am currently auctioning off some my own personal collection of LP's that I have collected over many years. I play all my records on a Vintage Toshiba deck. I will try to be as accurate as possible with my description. Having said that, if you need any more information, please contact me. Oh but don't ask me to end the auction early.
David Bowie Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars UK 1st Press LP 1E/1E 1st Variant Matrix. All in excellent condition.
GENERAL NOTES:
The album was recorded at Trident Studios, London, 9 July 1971 - 4 February 1972 using material from the sessions for the previous album 'Hunky Dory' ('It Ain't Easy', July 9, 1971), all other tracks being recorded between November 8, 1971 and February 4, 1972.
First UK issue includes a printed lyric inner. Identifying features include Titanic Music publishing credit and no Mainman logo on the back of the sleeve. Later issues have a Mainman publishing credit instead of Titanic and include a Mainman logo on the rear of the sleeve.
Front cover of this issue has derived from US artwork, and the RCA Victor logo and US catalogue number have been pasted over. It is possible to discern a large rectangular cover over, on which the UK details are placed on top of.
First and second cat# on cover and label, third on inner sleeve.

An original 1st press of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars on the UK RCA label. Rare 1st Matrix 1E/1E. The vinyl comes housed in it's original cover. Also included is the original inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. Sorry no flyer.
Vinyl (Ex+) In absolutely terrific condition having seen only very light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of very light marks - nothing remotely troublesome, certainly nothing feelable. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. This is a low-mileage copy clearly and audio quality is very impressive. Interference is pretty much non-existent. All I could detect was a few bits of light static and crackles in the intros and the beginning of both sides. And then very little else hardly worth mentioning. A very respectable copy that remains superbly preserved. Could probably do with a good clean as I only use an a anti static cloth. The label on side one is excellent, side two has a little bit of rubbing, nothing too detrimental. Possibly had a name written on it at some point and it has been removed, really rather well.
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Nice and clean front and back with only the very lightest handling wear. Edge wear is very light and almost non existent. The spine is 100% intact with all writing legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex+) There are no issues with it at all. Perfect. No splits, and slight creasing.
I only send LP's using insured postage. All LP's will be sent in a solid, card box packaging. The cost is £8.70 valid in the UK only. This is by Royal Mail Special Delivery and is fully insured.
If for any reason and in the unlikely event you are not happy with the LP, you may return it for a full refund, you must pay for return insured postage yourself.
