Description
An original 1st issue of Ziggy from summer 1972 on the UK RCA label. Matrix 1E/2E. Please note publishing credits are for Titanic and not Mainmain which would have been used just a few months later. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Robert Stace sleeve and, again, no Mainman logo on the rear. Also included is the original lyric inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb shape and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a few marks, but nothing heavy or that affects audio performance. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minimal. All we detected was a touch of light static briefly in a couple of tracks [e.g. Lady Stardust]. These early RCA copies are really nice and the audio on offer, here, is going to kick pretty much everything else into touch.
Cover (Vg+) In very nice condition and has clearly been looked after down the years. There is some light handling wear visible front and back, but nothing really obtrusive. Edge wear is reasonably light and the spine is mostly intact. Overall the cover still retains great rigidity.
Inner (Vg) No splits, but light ageing and upper corners a bit worn.
Any purchase is guaranteed to get to you quickly, safely, and with total satisfaction, or your money back.
