Labels: MINT
An immaculate, glossy pair with no spindle marks or wear to or around either centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which apart form one or two light surface marks from sleeve removal are unmarked in strong daylight. Even close inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just some harmless wispy paper-type hairlines, but certainly nothing I would call a scratch. Both sides of this barely played copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
The great sounding copy has clearly been barely played and the sound throughout is clean & totally unworn. My careful playcheck detected no trace of any groove/play wear distortion or other significant distractions throughout. In fact, apart from a hint of low-level vinyl background between tracks, there is little to fault on this highly impressive sounding copy which will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
Stored all its life in its original shop shrinkwrapping which has protected the fragile matt finish and as a result this superb example is free from any of the usual storagewear rubbing or wear. In fact, apart from a single faint 'thumbnail' wrinkle near the front opening edge, there really is little evidence of its 40 years.
All corners are sharp and unbumped and there is little sign of ear to either opening edge. The rear panel is as clean and unworn as the front with no visible faults or wear visible in any area.
Both seams & the spine are smooth, unstressed and undamaged and the spine is fully worded and completely unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Flat & uncreased with a few gentle wrinkles from storage. There are a few flecks of ink from printing on the lyric side, but no writing, tears or splits to any seam.
