I have four Ziggy Stardust scarfs for sale, produced and specially commissioned for the 2013 V&A David Bowie is Here exhibition. They were a limited edition and are now a rare and iconic collectable item. I was lucky enough to get the last few directly from the manufacture (Beckford Silk). Each one has been hand screen printed onto lovely high quality silk, the method of production means that each one is slightly unique and some slight print blemishs - I have shown an example of one of the scarf in the photo, each one is different. Any printing differences do not distract from the quality of each scarf in fact they make the quite unique.
The first bought will be the one in the photographs of this posting.
I'm aware that these scarfs are now fetching £100's by collectors/traders in memorabilia, however I think they are designed to be worn and enjoyed - so hopefully true Bowie fans will get an opportunity to own one or an excellent opportunity to get a unique Christmas present for the Bowie fan in your life.
The pattern on these silk scarfs has been developed from the fabric used in the jumpsuit worn by David Bowie on the cover of the 'Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars' album cover. They are 100% silk double sided bagged.
