Description
I'm an audio enthusiast occasionally selling off surplus items.
This is David Bowie's The Rise And Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. It's an original RCA Victor pressing - the catalogue numbers in the deadwax end in 7E on side 1 and 4E on side 2. Here's a description including sound samples.
1. Record. There are no spindle marks on either side and no wear at all to the spindle hole - the record looks almost unplayed apart from some light scuff marks to the deadwax. Even so, the vinyl isn't the quietest I've ever heard - please listen and see what you think.
In the following sound samples, you'll hear me drop the needle onto the record and play the beginning of track 1. Then I play the end of track 1 and the beginning of track 2, including the track break. That way you get the maximum chance to hear any background noise. 2. Sleeve. This is just an average EX, looking a bit tired and showing obvious signs of wear but certainly not shabby or torn. There's also a very nice picture inner sleeve though it shows patches of yellowing. There are no split seems to either of these.
All in all, I'd say this is nothing special because the sleeve is a bit worn and the vinyl isn't the quietest but even so, it's a nice copy of this classic LP.
To avoid any possibility of damage in transit, the LP will be packed in a strong cardboard box. The record will be taken out of its inner and outer sleeve and placed in a spare inner sleeve.
