Description
David Bowie,The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars,LP, Catalogue Number: (SF 8287), Cover Details: Standard sleeve with a Picture/lyric inner sleeve.
Cover Condition: very good condition with some creasing or marks as seen in the pictures or noted.
Record Condition: Has been played a fair amount and clearly shows surface marks which are likely to affect play in some way with background noise in most of the quiet parts & possibly the odd click but should not jump or skip.
Any Other Details: Original first pressing, on the RCA Victor record label. The labels have Titanic/Chrysalis music credits. Matrix numbers BGBS 0864-1E also has what looks like 'AIM' hand etched into the runout & BGBS 0865-1E with 'AIP' hand etched into run out. This record has been listened to and on our record player it played without any jumps, sticks or pops, it does have some light crackles in places on both sides, the last track on side two has noticeable crackles throughout. The sleeve is the first press version with no Mainman credits on the back. The RCA and Victor logos on the front have the very faint block around them where the UK details have been pasted on instead of the original American ones. The sleeve has some creasing and a record imprint on both sides. This is still a good solid sleeve, its just been handled too much for an excellent grade. The original lyric inner sleeve is present and it is in fair condition, it has creases and several grubby areas and a couple of small stains, the top edge has a 4cm tear, the bottom is split pretty much all the way across and one side has a 9cm split, a new white inner has been provided
